Robert Benson, Composer
Robert Benson is a free-lance musician in the Cincinnati area and Professor Emeritus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Since the age of sixteen, he has held numerous positions as organist and choirmaster in Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio.

The passion for music
Benson began his musical training when he was four years old and began composing at the age of twelve. His choral and organ works are published by Augsburg Fortress Publishers, Trinitas Press, Church Publishing, Inc., St. James Music Press, CanticaNOVA, and Mark Foster Music.
